The mourning of morning

Untitled-1

“All around me darkness gathers
Silent is the sun that shone”

Light retreats, everything feels cold and hollow… warmth is gone and the very air I breathe feels damp.

What changed since yesterday?

Nothing and everything…
Morals feel immoral, and logic is utterly illogical.

The breaking of rules so established in one’s psyche can be very painful; but the breaking of attachments brings the end about.

What now?

The sun shines in the blue skies still, but it is not yesterday’s sun, and the skies are not the blue page they used to be for so long; instead, it’s a ring of agony filling an abandoned plane with piercing rays of plight.

The cycle keeps turning, but the reason for reason is lost.

“What’s wrong with this picture?”
“You know we miss her…”

All is in vain and vain is in all!
